Checking the Mining Claims
This Diptych is based on the tyre tracks that lead on to the salt lake. At first I had no idea why they would go there in the first place. However after talking to the locals near Coolgardie mine fields, they told me that people ride out to slat lakes all the time to check on their mining leases as maybe the animals or just weathering may knock them over. So that was their parameter of their claims for later workings.
